A cold water plunge fundraiser is not for the faint of heart, but it is a fun and inexpensive way to raise money for your team, cause, or school. Obviously this kind of fundraiser only works in areas that have cold bodies of water, and it’s not a good idea for children to participate.

This is a great fundraiser for a school. Teachers can pledge to take the cold water plunge if a certain fundraising minimum is reached.
Things you need to know before your fundraiser:
You’re going to need to have a warm place for your participants to be before and after your cold water plunge fundraising event. There needs to be a medical professional on staff in case of an emergency, and you have to make sure that all of your participants sign a waiver before they take the plunge.
Make sure your participants understand what they’re getting themselves into. Participants may experience rapid breathing, difficulty holding their breathe, and increased heart rate. Make sure your participants are aware and able to handle it.
