Hosting a movie night fundraising event is a really great way to raise money for your team, cause, or school. Movie night fundraisers can be themed, hosted in the school gym or community centre, or for something more fun they can be held outside. Movie night fundraisers are also a great option as a smaller fundraising event that can be held in a volunteer’s home.
Holiday themed movie night fundraisers:
Holiday themed movie nights are a great way to raise money during the holiday season. Charge an entry fee and play a classic Christmas movie, and have hot chocolate available for purchase for your supporters. Make sure that you have enough seating for those who will be attending, or ask supporters to bring their own seating to your fundraiser.
Sports themed movie fundraisers:
If you’re raising money for a team, a sports-movie themed fundraiser is a great idea to help fundraise! Pick a film that is in line with the athletic organization or team that you’re trying to raise money for, and charge an entry fee.
Classic movie fundraiser:
If you’re raising money for a community cause, a classic movie fundraiser could work for you. If you really want to make your fundraiser special, you can also have participants show up in themed costumes that work with the film of your choosing.
Parents night movie fundraiser:
Raising money for a school organization? Host a parents movie night so that parents in your organization or on your team can take a night off and relax. To raise even more money, you can provide babysitting services that contribute to your cause along with your fundraiser.
